Photographer Oslo – studio by City Hall
Our photo studio is located at street level in Tordenskiolds gate 12, next to Oslo City Hall and a three-minute walk from the National Theatre, Aker Brygge, Karl Johans gate, the Parliament, Kvadraturen and Akershus Fortress. We photograph in the studio and on location. Sessions are by appointment. Studio photography can be booked online.

Oslo’s oldest photo studio – established in 1933
Photographer Svein A. Sturlason established the studio in central Oslo in 1933. Since then, more than 50 photographers have helped shape the company.
The studio has evolved through many different phases. Today, we have created a clean and efficient photographic space without unnecessary distractions. A visit to our studio should be about the person being photographed – not about us.
By removing distractions and wasted time, we can give the photography our full attention. The result is our Whitebox concept: an open space designed for creative processes and efficient collaboration.
The studio has direct street access, with its own accessible entrance and easy access for prams and wheelchairs.
Nearby parking: Akershus Fortress and the Concert Hall. You can also stop your car directly outside for drop-off and pick-up.
